  • Do you have a location I can visit?

  • Do I need a doctor’s recommendation? How do I get one?

  • Is Medical Marijuana legal in California?
  • Yes. On November 5, 1996, California passed Proposition 215, and Section 11362.5 was codified and added to the Health & Safety Code. It is also known as the Compassionate Use Act of 1996. The purposes of the Act include, in part: “(A) To ensure that seriously ill Californians have the right to obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes where the medical use is deemed appropriate and has been recommended by a physician who has determined that the person’s health would benefit from the use of marijuana in the treatment of cancer, anorexia, AIDS, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, migraine, or any other illness for which marijuana provides relief; and (B) To ensure that patients and their primary caregivers who obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes upon the recommendation of a physician are not subject to criminal prosecution or sanction.”

  • Can physicians legally recommend or prescribe medical marijuana to a patient?
  • Yes. On September 7, 2000, U.S. District Judge William Alsup ruled in Conant v. McCaffrey that federal authorities may not sanction doctors who recommend marijuana to patients. Please visit Here if you would like more information.

  • Why medical marijuana instead of other medications?
  • Medical marijuana is the flowering segment of marijuana plants that are cultivated under very controlled conditions. Our flowers are thoroughly inspected to be sure it free of mold, fungi, chemical pesticides and other contaminants. Our flowers are also tested and any effects are reported and noted. Extra Special Delivery offers only medicinal quality cannabis to its qualified patients and caregivers.

  • Do you guys really delivery 24/7?
  • …yeah, I know as crazy as it sounds, we started with just 2 guys running 24/7, it has not been easy, but getting through it made us realize that helping people is a passion, and if losing a little sleep to get someone the sleep aid they need, then please, call anytime, and one of our Extra Specialist will promptly pick up and help.

  • Can I still call you if I am outside of your delivery range?
  • Yes, please call, we have no issues helping patients find another service or dispensary that is convenient for them, we have no issues looking in your area for you and help you over the phone. If we can’t service you, we will help find someone who will.

  • Will you verify my recommendation and Valid ID before delivery? How does it work?
  • Short answer to that…YES…here is how it works.

    Please send us your medical recommendation and valid ID before we can send your order out. If you do not provide us these essential things, OR if either or both are not still valid, we can not and will not deliver to you, their are no exceptions. We track all recommendations and ID expiration dates, and check them on each order, if you are close to expiration we will try to notify you so you do not have a lapse in coverage.

    TO GET STARTED

    You can give us your medical recommendation 2 ways.

    • Visit the Verify page and upload your Medical Recommendation and Valid ID.
    • Or simply Email us at ExtraspecialdeliveryLA@gmail.com
    • After you send your Medical Recommendation, Valid ID & address for the delivery via email to be verified and added to our system. This process takes just a few minutes and we will respond back to your email once you are verified.
    • After placing your order we will process it and add it to the que to be sent out. Normal que wait is 20-25 mins.
    • Once your order leaves and is on the way to you, you will receive a Live Track GPS Text with your order update to the cellphone number you have provided in your order, you can track your order live and contact the driver via text or calling right from there if you have any questions or concerns for the driver directly.
    • When the driver arrives, they will read the notes you have provided in your order if any for Gate codes, or instructions you have given, if none are given they will call your cell upon arrival and you can either meet them at the door or guide them up to you, whichever is easiest for you.
